Everything you need to know about Skew
Skew (shear) slants the image along horizontal or vertical axes, creating a parallelogram effect.
Parameters
- Horizontal Skew
Tilts the image left (negative) or right (positive). The top and bottom edges shift in opposite directions. - Vertical Skew
Tilts the image up (negative) or down (positive). The left and right edges shift in opposite directions.
Presets
Use the quick buttons for common skew directions, or combine both sliders for diagonal effects.
Tips
- Use subtle skew (5–15%) for italic text effects
- Combine with perspective for complex 3D transformations
- Transparent areas appear where the image is shifted
