Everything you need to know about Crop
Crop removes unwanted parts of your image or cuts it into a specific shape. Choose from free-form cropping, preset aspect ratios for social media and print, or fun shapes like circles, hearts, and stars. You can even upload your own custom SVG shape.

Drag freely without any constraints. Perfect for removing unwanted edges or focusing on a specific area. - Aspect Ratios
Lock to common proportions:- 16:9 – Video, YouTube, presentations
- 4:3 – Traditional photo format
- 3:2 – Classic 35mm film ratio
- 21:9 – Cinematic ultrawide
- 9:16 – Instagram Stories, TikTok, Reels
- 1:1 – Square for Instagram posts, profile pictures

Crop to geometric shapes with transparent backgrounds:- Circle – Perfect for avatars and profile pictures
- Heart – Great for romantic or Valentine's content
- Star – 5-pointed star for badges and highlights
- Hexagon – Modern geometric look
- Custom Mask
Upload your own shape mask to crop to any shape:- SVG – Vector shape, filled areas become visible
- PNG – Transparent areas are removed, opaque areas kept
- JPG/PNG with white background – White is removed, dark areas kept. Use the threshold slider to fine-tune.
Controls
- Drag the crop box
Move the selected area over your image. - Drag corners or edges
Resize the crop area. Proportions stay locked in aspect-ratio and shape modes. - Scroll to zoom
Zoom into the image for precise cropping. - Drag the image
Pan the image when zoomed in.
Tips
- Shape crops create transparent areas – save as PNG to preserve transparency
- Use 9:16 for Stories/Reels and 1:1 for Instagram feed posts
- Custom SVGs work best when they have a single filled shape. PNG masks with transparency work great too.
