The perfect DPI settings

for your Laser

How to choose the correct
scan gap

It makes no sense to choose the highest possible DPI,
if your laser point dont matches the size of the scan gap.

    How it works:
  • 1. Make sure your mirrors are aligned perfectly
  • 2. Make sure you did a ramp test, so your focus is perfect
  • 3. Do a quick "Shot" with your laser, and measure the dot
    (I would use Acrylic)
  • 4. Search your dot size in the table
  • 5. Use the DPI next to the size for all of your images now
