Bottom to top keeps smoke and dust off the part you already engraved - that is why it is the default.
We recognise most lasers when you connect. Pick your model here only if the engraving comes out wrong or your model was not recognised.
Solid black burns at max power, the faintest grey at min. Raise min only if light areas do not come out on your material.
Move the laser head to the corner where the engraving should start, then click "Set origin here".
Step size in mm
The job starts exactly where the head is standing now - the laser does not drive to its home corner first.
On a Ruida machine, set the start origin on the machine panel (the Origin key). The job then engraves from that point.
The job starts at the origin you set on the machine and runs in the direction shown - make sure there is enough material that way. If the controller warns that the frame is out of bounds, either confirm on the panel to run anyway, or pick a different corner.
Stay at the machine, wear eye protection and keep something to put out a fire within reach. A fire starts in seconds.
